I received an email this morning about Chrysler's Town & Country Family Fitness Day on Nov. 10 and 11, 2007, stating: There is an option to forward the email to a friend, so I think registration is still open. I would sign up to receive more information about Chrysler, and/or enter the contest online to win a 2008 Town & Country to try and get the same email I did for an event in your area. If you're in the Chicagoland area, send me a PM and I'll have Chrysler forward to you a copy of the email that I was sent for the Warrenville event.

I'm of 2 minds on this one.... The test drive gift was not 'all that' - you get a dufflebag that says 'Chrysler' and some incentives if you purchase. We did go to both days of the 'family fitness event' though, and thought that was a great day out!!! LifeTime fitness is extremely family-oriented. I didn't go to a gym before as the cost of a babysitter would've pushed it over my budget. This place has a great kids area (computers, basketball court, climbing gym, baby area with playhouses and toys, bigscreen TV for cartoons) and they even accept infants in diapers. They'll page you if your baby needs a diaper change - you get the honors. There is also a lap pool, an outdoor pool with waterslides, and an indoor family pool with water slides, fountains, and that 'zero-depth' beach-effect thing (as well as two hot tubs for the adults). Cafe, hair salon, exercise machines, classes, etc... Kids under 12 are only $6 a month. Add that to the individual rate, and a mom with 3 kids pays about $78 monthly. Unlimited access to drop the kids in the play area (which they love) while you sit in the hot tub or get your hair done even if you don't feel like exercising. All cheaper than if you just dropped the kids off at a sitter so you could have a few hours to yourself once or twice a month!!!! I know what I'm thinking (BTW - I have 3 kids and pay $5 per hour per kid - $15/hourly. Add travel time to your plans and my sitter gets at least $50 if I want a few hours to do something or go out to eat with my husband!!!! So... we don't go out very often). If only they had one of these in the city... Both nearest locations are about 30 miles away from me.
