Went in to do this one on the 30th and we shall see what happens... I don't like it when I don't get to send in the details, I just don't know if I'll get recompensed!
I told everybody that eventually I'll be in the market for a new car (won't we all), but I wasn't looking to buy today, just wanted the gift card. So I talk to this salesman, and he says "I won't make you do this", pointing to the test drive print-out and asking if I was sure that I wouldn't be interested in a car if he could get me in one before I left with no money down. He said he wasn't going to put through my info for a credit check until I was ready to buy.
He made an appointment for me to come in with my signif other next Saturday, and said to be sure to ask for him, other wise it would mess everything up on the computer. I'll call him back to cancel closer to the date, but I wonder if I'll get my gift card.
If I don't, at least I have the dealer's name and business card. I'll just tell my :'(story to Chevy and see if they send me one anyways.
